Weiss Mediation is proud to announce that, for 2026 – the sixth year in a row, Andrew Weiss has been designated a Southern California Super Lawyer for the legal specialty of Alternative Dispute Resolution (Mediation). No other mediator in San Luis Obispo County has been so consistently honored as an ADR Super Lawyer, and Mr. Weiss is currently the only Super Lawyer mediator based in the county.
This year’s recognition is the twentieth time that Mr. Weiss has been named a Super Lawyer. Before retiring from active trial practice based in Fresno in 2019, and prior to switching the focus of his practice from trial work to dispute resolution, Mr. Weiss was recognized fourteen times as a Northern California Super Lawyer for the specialty of Medical Malpractice Defense.
Super Lawyer status is conferred on outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement and is awarded only to the top 5% of attorneys in a recognized legal specialty. Super Lawyers began recognizing top lawyers in California in 2004.
